DEVELOPMENT OF JAYAWIJAYA LOCAL WISDOM TEACHING MATERIALS TO IMPROVE SCIENCE PROCESS SKILLS

The absence of teaching materials with a local context is an obstacle to the implementation science learning in areas where mother tongue still dominant daily communication. Related this reality, study aims develop and validate Jayawijaya wisdom that can be used improve students' process skills. method research development (R&D) by adopting 4D (Four D) model developed Thiagarajan Melvyn (1974). results data analysis carried out 5 validators stated were very feasible for use learning. content expert media gave average score 93.83 (very good) practitioner validator assessed 97.12 good). validation show are learners at school
